Academy for Lifelong Learning Offering 13 Winter Courses

The Academy for Lifelong Learning continues its 32-year tradition of presenting educational and social opportunities for adults 55+ by offering thirteen, 6-week, noncredit courses starting the week of January 22. Registration is now open by mail. The course catalog is available at www.allsaratoga.org

 

Course catalogs are also available at local libraries, YMCA’s and retirement communities or by request at (518) 290-6988 or jeff@allsaratoga.org. Registrations will be accepted by mail throughout the term until courses are full. Some courses will sell out. Annual membership is $75 and goes for 365 days from join date. Six-week courses are $50 each.

 

Topics for these volunteer-led, noncredit courses include music, literature, teas, Italian language, Biology of Aging, Tai Chi, writing, hiking, snow shoeing, fine tuning your finances, history, horse racing, science – space, and more. Courses are offered on location in classrooms, outdoors, or by Zoom.

 

Founded in 1992, the Academy is a nonprofit, membership organization whose members share a love of learning. A self-funded entity, A.L.L. is designed to offer lifelong learning and comradery among seniors, A.L.L. also offers a spring and fall term, Special Interest Groups, (SIGs) and special events that are held throughout the year.
