The Brick at 2 West now open at the former 2 West Bar and Grill location on West Avenue
The eponymously named The Brick at 2 West had a soft opening on Thursday December 16th with a limited menu and will debut its full menu on January 2nd. The large space was occupied by 2 West Bar & Grill until it closed in March of 2020.
It is owned by Eric and Melissa Schreifels, who just last month closed the Brick Tavern & Grill in Clifton Park. The new Saratoga establishment will be managed by their daughter Erika Schreifels.
Ms. Schreifels told Saratoga Report that they are proud to be a family-owned, community restaurant/bar. Their brick pizzas will be cooked in a Baker’s Choice flat brick oven, and unlike some restaurants that place a screen on the bricks, the pizzas made at 2 West will be cooked directly on the hot bricks.
When fully operational in January, the location will offer Happy Hours Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, which will offer Buy one Get One drinks, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
The restaurant has a web site that will be available Monday 12/20, as well as Facebook and Instagram pages. “We plan on making Saratoga our home away from home and can only hope to have the same amazing customer base that has supported us since day one,” Ms. Schreifel noted. “We’re excited for the opportunity to carry our name into this amazing community in Saratoga and are extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow our family run business.”
