SARATOGA REPORT

Jeff Schwartz named head of Phillips Lytle law firm’s Albany Office

By Dan De Federicis

Saratoga Springs Resident Jeffrey Schwartz has been named head of Phillips Lytle Albany’s office, according to an article in the Albany Business Review.  Schwartz, who started with Phillips Lytle in 2006 after the small Albany firm he was with, Honen & Wood, was acquired by the Buffalo-based Phillips Lytle.

Schwartz told the Albany Business Review that he would like to double the size of the Albany office’s current seven attorneys, with a special effort to attract diverse candidates.  He specializes in banking and corporate law, including venture capital transactions, equity/asset acquisitions and dispositions, and general corporate counsel services.
