Take A Saratoga Racetrack Tour
The Next Best Thing to Being Inside
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NEW YORK. You can get the inside story of this “season without spectators” on a Saratoga Racetrack Walking Tour.
Racing is happening at Saratoga this year! Unfortunately, due to Covid19, there are no spectators allowed on the track grounds. But with Saratoga Racetrack Tours, you can still be close to the action. You’ll explore the racing scene as we walk in the area just outside the track. You’ll find out what is really happening behind the gates and how the track is adapting.
On race days, tours are timed and routes are planned so that guests can be as close to the action as possible and often see part of a race. Tours are led by the track’s experienced guides who know the ins and outs of the Saratoga racing scene and are a wealth of great information and track lore.
Tours are approximately 1 hour in length. Capacities are limited. As per NY State guidelines, all guides wear masks, and guests are asked to wear one during the tour. Guests are also asked to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others during the tour. Guides carry portable PA systems so that even with distancing, there is no problem hearing all the great details.
Tours start at 12PM daily during racing season from July 15—Labor Day. The daily schedule is posted at www.saratogatracktours.com. Ticket prices start at $20 for adults and $10 for children under 18 and private tours are available.
