SARATOGA REPORT

You DO have a realistic chance to win a Porsche in the Saratoga Automobile Museum Sweepstakes!

Seemingly every big lottery winner is from Brooklyn….or Nebraska…but almost never near where you live.  The same goes with sweepstakes held by national retailers, where someone will win $1,000 for taking part in a survey.  They don’t tell you that you’re competing against every customer in every one of their 862 locations nationwide.

People are skeptical of sweepstakes for these reasons, especially those that cost money.  The sweepstakes to win a Porsche that is being held by the Saratoga Auto Museum DOES give you a realistic chance to win a Porsche.  Not a Chevy, which would be exciting enough, but a PORSCHE!  Still long odds to be sure, but a realistic shot nonetheless – for just $20 that supports the Saratoga Automobile Museum.

How do I know this?  I spoke to George Fisher of Saratoga Springs, NY who lives off of Lake Avenue.  A neighbor to much of the Saratoga Report’s readership – George was one of just 942 people who bought a total of 4,762 tickets in the Automobile Museum’s 2020 sweepstakes – and George WON a Mercedes SL-300 convertible!  He told me when the Museum called him to tell him he’d won, he hung up and called them back because he wanted to ensure it wasn’t a joke.

No Joke, and George is a longtime supporter of the museum and thinks we should all feel fortunate that this wonderful institution is here in Saratoga Springs.  He noted with a chuckle that he never knew anybody who won a car before – but after that fateful call he indeed knew somebody – himself.  He encourages people to support the museum by buying one or more sweepstakes tickets for this year’s sweepstakes to win a Porsche.  You’ll be supporting a wonderful organization here in the Spa City and you just might find yourself driving the coolest car on the block!
